“I love creating a one-of-a-kind type of house,” he said. “What’s really fun is going back to some I’ve done three or four years ago and remembering what I did, and seeing how the rooms still function and how it functions exactly how the people wanted it.”

Bill’s interest in home building has been with him all his life.

His father, grandfather and great-grandfather were builders and woodworkers, starting with August Juergen Koll, who moved to America from Denmark at 23 and started a planing mill in Los Angeles.
